What this notice covers

Cookies are small browser records. Local storage can also keep information on your device. This page describes the storage used by the website's current features.

Client portal sign-in

Clerk uses cookies and related authentication storage to keep client portal sign-in working. Blocking that storage can prevent sign-in or access to protected resources. Its names and duration can vary with the authentication settings and your session.

Saved software inquiry

The software inquiry saves a project draft under lumintel-order-draft in your browser's local storage. It can include your name, email, business and project details. It is removed after completion. A draft older than 30 days since its last save is removed when you next open the inquiry. Your browser does not run the website's cleanup while the site is closed.

To remove it sooner, use Clear saved draft on the software inquiry, or clear this website's stored data through your browser settings. On a shared device, remove your draft before leaving. Blocking browser storage can prevent draft recovery but does not require you to save a draft to contact Malcolm.

Temporary snapshot report

A generated snapshot report and its business/task context are cached in browser session storage for up to 30 minutes. Name and email are not saved in that cache. Use the report's clear control or close the tab to remove the tab copy. Downloaded PDFs remain on your device until you remove them.

Payments and external services

If you continue to Stripe hosted checkout, Stripe controls storage on its payment page. External pages and client resource links may use their own storage. Review the relevant provider's notice when using them.

Tracking and your browser choices

The website includes Vercel Web Analytics for cookie-free aggregate public page views and fixed checkout, booking and snapshot events, subject to deployment settings. Private portal and internal pages are excluded. URL query strings and fragments are removed, and events do not include form input or booking tokens. The current website does not include advertising pixels or session replay. Authentication and hosting providers may still process technical request information. We will update this notice if we add tracking features.

You can remove stored website data or block cookies in your browser settings. Removing authentication storage may sign you out. Clearing local storage deletes the saved inquiry on that device. Contact mmacdonald@lumintel.ai with questions about a specific browser record.
